Nguan’s photographs contemplate life and longing in the world’s biggest cities. He was born and raised in Singapore and graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Film and Video Production. Nguan’s work has been featured in international publications as diverse as the groundbreaking street art magazine Arkitip, influential hipster bible Vice and contemporary art journal Kaleidoscope. His images have also appeared on many of the world’s most popular websites, including Slate, It’s Nice That, Booooooom and The Daily Mail.

Fyerool Darma
He was born in 1987 on an island at the edge of the Golden Peninsula. Having exposed to modern hieroglyphs in his boyhood, he became fascinated with the unconventional and plausible languages of painting. His works are attempts in drawing out his curiosity in locating and understanding the intersections between history, myth and philosophy.
Fyerool continues to live and work in Singapore.
